Colin Hamilton is Vice President, Market Research & Economic Analysis at Teck. Based in London, he leads Teck's market analysis team and has a strong focus on China and global trade flows. Previously, he headed up commodities research teams at both BMO Capital Markets and Macquarie and has over 20 years’ experience in the metals and mining industry.

Helen Amos joined BMO in 2025 as Managing Director and Commodities Analyst, as part of the Metals and Mining Commodities team in Equity Research, based in London. Prior to BMO, Helen served as a Commodities Strategist at Morgan Stanley and before that, Helen was Macro and Commodity Research Lead at Anglo American. She began her career at CRU as an Analyst specialising in Steelmaking Raw Materials.

Nicholas Snowdon heads the metals and mining research at Mercuria Energy Trading. He brings 17 years of experience in the commodity trading industry previous that, most recently working at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director, Head of Metals Research. Previously, he was with Deutsche Bank as Director, Base Metals and Bulks Strategist for 2 years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Durham and a Master’s degree in Development Economics and Finance from the London University, School of Oriental and African Studies.

Graeme is Head of Metals and Minerals Analysis for Trafigura, one of the world's leading independent commodities groups. Since joining Trafigura in 2015, he has led the company's global metals and minerals research function, covering base metals, battery materials, and bulk commodities.

With 20 years' experience in commodity markets, Graeme specialises in understanding how economic, geopolitical and policy developments shape commodity markets and the metals and mining industry.

Prior to joining Trafigura, Graeme led China commodity research at Macquarie, following earlier research roles covering the Asian steel and raw materials markets.

Graeme holds BA (Hons) degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of York.

Natalie covers LME and battery material metals across EMEA and Asia, providing frequent market analysis and price forecasting for the company and its clients. Based in the London office, her responsibilities also cover support in the precious and energy markets. Prior to joining StoneX, Natalie was a Senior Metals Demand Analyst in the GFMS team at Refinitv. She specialised in precious metals activity among central banks and international financial institutions, in addition to following demand for bullion both in the paper and physical investment markets. Natalie covered precious metal fundamentals across Europe, including analysis on the automotive markets. She headed up the team’s technical analysis across the metals space, while taking up the position of lead analyst for metal demand within the chemical and petroleum sectors. She was the key analyst covering materials used in rechargeable batteries, predominately utilised in both the automotive and energy storage sectors. Prior to GFMS, Natalie was an oil and gas upstream analyst.

Brian Peng is a Senior Copper Analyst within CRU's Base Metals team, specialising in copper industrial value chains spanning mine supply through to the smelting and refining sectors. He serves as Editor of the Copper Concentrates Monitor and Sub-Editor of the Copper Concentrate Market Outlook and Copper China Demand Spotlight.

Brian holds a Master's degree and brings over a decade of fundamental research and analysis in base metals markets, with a particular focus on copper supply chains, concentrate flows, and smelting and refining economics. His analytical work spans market balances, supply&demand-side dynamics and cost curve modelling, providing clients with rigorous, data-driven intelligence on the copper market. This is further complemented by seven years of academic experience in base metals smelting, and two years in the rare earths sector. His technical expertise encompasses the mining and metallurgy of copper, zinc/lead, and nickel, with a strong grounding in cost analysis across the value chain.

Craig Lang brings to CRU more than 15 years' experience as a commodity and equity research analyst, primarily covering the mining and metals sector. In addition to base metals, he has also covered other sectors during his career including steel and chemicals.

Craig's previous roles include working for Moelis & Company, Citigroup, Credit Suisse and WMC Resources and his extensive experience will strengthen CRU's coverage and service to our customers in the base metal markets. Craig's primary focus will be the copper, nickel, lead and zinc industries. Craig is based in CRU's Singapore office.

Tianyu He joined CRU’s Shanghai office in 2018. He focuses on research and market intelligence around China Copper demand. Before joining CRU, Tianyu had rich experience in multiple metals market and consulting projects. He holds a Master of International Financial Analysis from Jonkoping International Business School in Sweden.
